Extend Your Car Warranty
Your brand new car is no longer quite so brand new. The new car smell is long gone, the seats are not as comfortable as they once were, and your original auto warranty is about to expire. You still love your car, and you plan on driving it for years to come. What then do you need to do to make sure that your car stays in the best possible shape?
Your car, and every other car on the road today, will likely have some variety of problems down the road. You can either take your chances, or hedge your bets and find an extended auto warranty. Of course, when you purchased your car, the dealership likely offered you the extended auto warranty, and if you are like most people, you turned that option down. The reason is simple, because usually, the best extended auto warranty is not found at your dealership, but at a third party or online. While the dealership extended auto warranty offerings are the most convenient, they may not be the actual best choice.
There are third party companies that can provide you with auto warranties that will extend past your original expiry date, giving you years more of worry-free driving. Most extended auto warranties that come from the third parties offer the same level of service as the dealership, but at a cheaper price. The other benefit of going through an independent provider is that you have a wide choice of repair shops you can take your vehicle and have the cost of the claim covered by the company with whom you drafted the contract. Every person that owns a car needs to be legally insured. Car insurance is required for all drivers and for good reason. It covers the driver in the event of an accident, theft, or any other incident involving the vehicle. At the minimum, drivers need to have bodily and property damage liability insurance; this covers damages caused to other drivers and their vehicles. It is also recommended that a driver have collision and comprehensive insurance, especially if the vehicle is financed. Not having car insurance, however, can end up costing a driver a lot in the long run.
